Either alone, or with my creative team of artists and illustrators, I will perform fun, dramatic, and expressive educational reading activities for schools, hospitals, Pre Schools, Day Care Centers, and numerous educational facilities. I have six published children’s books, which I narrate, while explaining the different elements of education involved in each book. It is a wonderful experience for children and adults.
Each performance is approximately 40 minutes to one hour. A group performance may run ninety minutes.
Aysia Stern is a six time published children's book author, with three more books due out in January 2012. She uses a multitude of simple, monosyllabic, concrete words in her preschool through third grade books. This enhances easy reading and avid learning skills. The variety and use of repetition is ingenious. Yet her level of sophistication of vocabulary in her YA books is intense with limited Sesquipedalian verbiage.
Alysia has written a large collaboration of children's stories, poems, and chapter books. Her words are simply, astonishing. Her taste is delicate, yet charismatic. Alysia is a proud member of the SCBWI and a freelance writer in the New York area.

Alysia Stern is a multi-published children’s book author, lyricist, freelance writer, and a copy writer for media groups. Her love for writing began around the age of nine. In 1999 she published her first piece of work through the International Library of Poetry. From there she went on to write several children’'s books, songs, and poems. Maison, Maggi and Spencer are her main characters, brought to life by graphic designer Constance Lehry. Along with writing books for Anthony J. Desantis's creation "Vincent Van Mouse", Alysia performs at school districts and charity events sharing her love for literature with adults, children and students.
